Finished and Waiting; a reprise
I posted this post last year on July 24th. After looking at it last month, I thought it would be fun to show a then and now. All of the "then" photos are on the left. The "now" phots are on the right.

Then: All the books on the book shelf are ready for action, there is an amazing assortment of classics and fun new stuff that I can't wait to share.
Then: This is the rocker/feeding station. I've been spending quite a bit of time here lately, as it's one of the only spots to sit in the house where I don't get trapped!
Now: The rocker is still a spot that gets lots of use! The pack-n-play is stashed behind the rocker. Wills likes to scoot between the rocker and the table to look out the window in the day.

Then: The crib is ready to go with a soft minky bumper and matching star mobile.
Now: We have lowered the mattress and rolled out the bumper. Wills sleeps in here at night now and loves to pull down the bumper so that he has somewhere extra soft to lay. He pulled the mobile off the side of his crib a few weeks ago during nap time, so we have taken it down.
Then: The red wagon is ready for a fun outing with our little one.
Now: We have had lots of fun adventures in the red wagon. See some of them here and here. It's also an excellent storage place for big toys and books as Wills can take things out of the wagon all by himself.

Now: Whew! There is a lot of stuff on the book shelf now, including a whole lot of books! Wills loves to have books read to him, so it's nice to have a variety to rotate around. I put the first family photo that we took in a frame on the top shelf and several of the toys that were on that shelf are favorites now.

Then: All of the tiny clothes in the closet have been washed and are ready for wearing. We also have a great stockpile of diapers in larger sizes (thanks Mom, Dad and Mary!).

Now: His tiny clothes are not so tiny any more! The little outfits on the right are mostly T-shirts and short onesies. We still try to keep some diapers in reserve in the back of the closet.
Then: So things in here are pretty much wrapped up and now we are just waiting! I know that it's a first baby, and it's somewhat improbable, but I'm hoping that the little guy makes an early appearance. Keep your fingers crossed for us! Abi
Now: So the waiting didn't go as well or quickly as we wanted. Wills joined us on 8-16 and has added more joy to our lives than we could have imagined. Thanks for all of your support, prayers and love over the last year. Abi

Bunny Love
Wills is getting so big! He crawls, he crab walks, he finger paints, he eats apples and veggies. I can't believe he's almost one! I can't belive that I went out on maternity leave a year ago this Wed! It's gone by so quickly. Here's a video of what the little guy has been up to lately. I hope you enjoy it, Abi
